Seamless Integration of Bathroom and Laundry in Kensington Park

The Client's Story

The original area bound for renovation was your typical 1970’s bathroom and laundry which was outdated and was restricting the potential of this home. With beautiful gardens and orientation that captured the breeze, the clients wanted an integrated bathroom and laundry where they would be happy to leave the door open.

The laundry needed to be user friendly and have plenty of storage without affecting the long narrow space to the outside door.

Important was the seamless integration of the design from the kitchen through to the laundry and bathroom and the ability to open the area up.

After

The result was magnificent, achieving the seamless integration that the clients envisioned and really showcases what can be done with good planning and attention to detail. The simplicity of the colour scheme really allowed the tile and tapware features to shine.

A cavity slider was installed in the laundry which not only opened up the area but will allow the clients to showcase what a laundry and bathroom should look like.

The tile set out in the bathroom was critical to the result and added to the complimentary light and dark contrasts between the floor, joinery and feature tiles.
