Maximising the Potential of this Athelstone Ensuite

The Client's Story

The original ensuite of this Athlestone home was very outdated and in need of a face lift. The space had not been used to its full potential which was making the room look very cramped and small.

The clients wanted an ensuite which was going to be spacious, inviting and have all the bells and whistles, using the space in the best way possible.

This included a stunning vanity as the focal point upon entry, a large shower with a wall-to-wall niche shelf, and a Smart toilet under a high line window.

The floor plan was changed which gave the room an element of space. The moment you walk into the ensuite you feel invited, due to the symmetrical walkway which takes you to the beautiful vanity and mirrored cabinet. Everything just works perfectly!!

Being an upstairs ensuite and having to change the floor plan is always going to pose some challenges in a project, however that’s what we do! We worked with the existing floor joists and bulkheads to the underside while ensuring the plumbing was set to the exact locations which would centralise every aspect of the ensuite. A good plan and some forward thinking gave us all the solutions that we needed.
